Niels Reijers

Outline of our approach to wirelessly reprogramme the nodes in the sensor network. The system is able to update itself, and reduces the communication cost by distribution only the changes to the currently running code.

Tijs van Dam

The design of the T-MAC protocol. The protocol saves energy by turning off the radio for a period of time when no more messages have to be exchanged. The sleeping time is not fixed, allowing the protocol to adapt to different levels of network activity. Simulation results show considerable energy savings.

Stefan Dulman

The open questions for the design of the sensor node architecture are presented. A number of existing architectures are described, followed by initial ideas on the architecture for sensor nodes.
